Virtual Arts & Craft Show from AmericanCraftGuide.com
We thought we'd try and we think it is a neat idea. Online Craft show where you sort of have your own "virtual booth". So far there are only 19 crafters featured and more being added. We will link to our "craft booth" once it is set up, but for now - go, check it out! There's never enough craft sites.

Knittles Festival Knit Cowl
Oh we were so excited to see knittles on the front page of etsy with our Festival Knit Cowl. It's really my favourite item at the moment, loved the yarn so much that I had to make one for myself and was wearing it to work today. Sorry for the crappy photo, taken with Apple's Photo Booth

Wow - 3D Knit Dresses

Found these crazy awesome dresses through Twitter post. The knitted dresses are by Fashion designer Sandra Blacklund. Again, if only I had more time, would love to try something like this, hmmm maybe for work Christmas party. After all, knittles spent at least 187 hours in the month of October on fulfilling custom orders for Etsy and local lovers of handcrafted knit hats.

Knittles in Etsy's Handmade Blog
We were thrilled to find our stylish Hunter Hat in Etsy's Handmade Blog article, along with such cool items. I want pretty much everything on that list, not sure it is "budget" enough for me, need to sell a few Hunters first.

If only I had the patience...
To knit something larger than a neckwarmer, or hat. I've tried, have sweaters and vests (baby no less) started, sitting in my knitting box, still on it's needles. Here are a few designs that inspire me, and when I have a minute or two (or a few hours or days) to myself, maybe I'll start it, and perhaps....a very huge perhaps, I'll actually finish it. A girl can dream can't she?
Raspy by kim hargreaveslove this design, so casually chic, like when bedhead was all the rage and you'd spend hard earned money on product that would make you look like you haven't washed your hair in weeks.
the yarn for this project was bought over a year ago, and do you think i've even attempted it yet? dust on the bag says no.
it did, however inspire me, and that's how the fabulous unravelled hat was born. It's still one of my favorite hats to make.

Shopping Extravaganza
Knittles had the first Craft sale of the season, the holiday season that is. We got to test our new hat displays - they worked out great and definitely made the table look so much better. Got lots of comments as well. Oh yes, and of course the trees - they were cute as well and definitely let us display the kids hats better - lots of people stopped by and commented on our handmade cuteness.

For the next week we are
going to be working hard on Children's hats. It seems like we always have the wrong size hats for children :-) So need to make more 3+ sizes along with finishing 8 neck warmers.

Knittles Awesome Earflap Hat
Found us on wists.com, someone noticed our Awesome Earflap Hat. Yes, the name is a bit cocky, but it is what is is - just plain awesome hand knitted hat. Love it every time I make it (sold 5 hats so far including the vegan version from 100% cotton yarn) and keep thinking of making one for myself.
